Bloom Clock/2008 part one

This bloom clock will run from the second solstice of 2007 (December 22) to the first solstice of 2008 (June 21). To participate, just add yourself to the contributors page (so we know where you are), and just add *~~~~ below any plant you noticed blooming today.

  • If you're not sure what the name of a plant is (and you have a photo to share), use the unknown plants page.
  • If you know the name of the plant but it isn't on the list yet, add the following to this page (using alphabetical order by the scientific name), replacing "Scientific name" with the binomial (Genus and species), and Common name with the English word for the plant:
{{bcp|Scientific name|Common name}}~~~~
  • If you know the common (English) word but not the scientific name, please try searching on wikipedia to find the scientific name.

Note: In order to keep the page size reasonably short, log entries are regularly moved to the log pages. For the same concern, please don't substitute {{bcp}} or {{bcp+}}.
