Where modules like HTML and CSS are part of the course it would be beneficial to add the following to this module to avoid duplication of skills and knowledge.

  1. Discuss the need for conversion of Data to suit web pages.
  2. Using Adobe Acrobat to convert to and from various file formats, e.g. html to pdf etc.
  3. Resizing images to a lower resolution and web page requirement.
  4. Creating and using .png files.
  5. Using Adobe Media Encoder to convert and skin native files to .flv.
  6. Use .swf files in Dreamweaver and set Wmode to transparent.
  7. Editing and converting various sound files, for web compatibility.
  8. Scan print to digital format using OCR programs.
