Wikiversity:Delegable proxy/Table
This page serves as a method of registering members of this Wikiversity Assembly. See #Alternate registration below for registration without naming a proxy.
Proxies have no defined role for Wikiversity yet. Proposals will be made. A brief description of the intention for proxies here is that, by naming a proxy, a user is stating that the user respects the named proxy as the best choice, among those willing to accept, for someone to consider a situation and make a decision, if the user is unable to participate directly. Proxies do not vote for others, they only "represent them" in certain kinds of analysis that may be done by those wishing advice. Details will be developed on Wikiversity:Delegable proxy.
Naming a proxy gives consent for the named proxy to communicate directly with the user, including by email, and accepting a proxy likewise gives the user permission to communicate directly with the proxy. Naming and acceptance may be withdrawn at any time.
- To use this table, edit the table and add two rows above the "Please..." comment at the end of the table with your information. You may copy the text below, or it is provided in the comment right after the table. Please be careful not to alter anyone else's entry. Clerks will check and correct entry errors, so don't worry.
|- | ~~~ || [[User:!Proxy|]] || ~~~~~ || || || || || ||
- Fill in your desired user name for "!Proxy," if you wish to name one, otherwise just leave it. You may leave the other fields blank at this point. Be sure you are logged in!
(The squigglies -- "~" -- will be replaced with your user name and a time stamp.)
- You may also use this Table to register for the Wikiversity:Assembly, without naming a proxy. ("!Proxy" means not-proxy.")
- To accept a proxy, login and insert your date stamp "~~~~~" in the fourth column. You may add the field markers and diffs, in brackets, for the original user assignment and the acceptance, or a clerk will do that. Clerks will also check for form and fix problems, asking the involved users if anything is unclear. Other than this, no user except a named proxy should edit the table for another user, and the latter only to accept (or remove acceptance) or comment in the provided field for proxy comments.

Alternate registration
editSign this section with *--~~~~ for simplified registration as an Assembly member without naming a proxy. You may later name a proxy if you wish. A proxy may also be named in this section by adding "proxy:(username)" to the signature and a clerk will move the registration to the proxy table and handle details.
