List of Schools edit

Two levels of schools, one being the parent school. each school under it, shall have courses (curriculum is a better name, but more difficult to write). So three levels of categories, (an extra optional level of course may be necessary). Schools and courses may overlap with others.

  • Applied (Knowledge)
    • Math
    • Logic
    • Programming (Computer science)
  • Science
    • Biology [courses:botany]
    • Geology
    • Applied Science? (overlaps too much with natural sciences) [courses:engineering? can be covered under many science categories]
    • Physics? (overlaps with other sciences, fundamentals?) [courses:astronomy]
    • Medical
    • Applied Science is a merger of a subcategory of science and applied
  • Humanities
    • History
    • Language [courses: constructed, natural]
  • Philosophy (Philosophy is categorized as under Humanities on wikipedia. Any thoughts on this?)
    • Religion [courses: by religion]
    • Semantics (Language interpretation)
    • Ethics
    • Aesthetics

Taken top categories from Britannica and adjusted... [merged math and logic, removed 'preservation of knowledge' ]

Strict categorization for schools, lock page move. Allow anyone to create move courses, courses can be 1 or 2 levels deep. Proposal for schools to be as:

School:Humanities/History

Discuss whether course should have its own namespace, or how else to structure it.
