Wikipedia arbitration committee/A.Z.

On October 2007, an administrator at Wikipedia, Dmcdevit, blocked an editor, A.Z. (whose real name is Artur), who wasn't allowed to request that other administrators unblocked him because Dmcdevit determined that all appeals should be directed by e-mail to the Arbcom. Dmcdevit's rationale was that Artur was advocating pedophilia on Wikipedia and that he argued against the block of pro-pedophilia editors. He provided two diffs, one was the creation of the article on adult-child sex, the other one the creation of a section of that same article. Artur's talk page was protected by another administrator with the rationale that other users were being too dramatic on that page. Artur sent an e-mail to the Arbcom requesting to be unblocked. The Arbcom never replied to him.
