Comment about "Is common practice (specially in non English Wikipedias) to begin articles with translations form the English one (that later on could begin to acquire its own local or cultural perspective)." My experience from German Wikipedia: when "just" translated from en.WP: articles are not welcomed at de.WP (but e.g. translated from de.WP to en.WP that was ok) ----Erkan Yilmaz uses the Wikiversity:Chat (try) 14:42, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
