- Intro
- The entry to a programme or programming block.
- ‘Level’(i)
- the general loudness of a recording or signal.
- ‘Level’(ii)
- The intened style of a program, in relation to its content and audience.
- Noise
- Unwanted audio in a recording.
- OGG
- Spefically OGG Vorbis an audio codec.
- ‘Puh’ filter
- An addition to a microphone, designed to reduce the effect of percussive sounds, to improve signal quality.
- Sting
- A short musical cue, used to introduce, or end a particular item, program or section.
- IceCast
- Software server (daemon) used to transmit programming over the network
