Teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) is a topic in the School:Education and the English Language Division and covers all matters relating to teaching English as a second or foreign language.
Little content here yet -- this is a very white whiteboard because Wikiversity is new. Don't let this slow you down...
Plunge ahead and write pages, including lesson plans and materials, about how you teach English and categorize them with plus appropriate .
How to participate
edit- Create pages in the main namespace (page names without a colon in them are in the "main" namespace, eg Example page name) and write how you teach
- teaching tips, obvious or profound, if it works for you write about it
- lesson plans
- even methodology and approach if you write that way
- Categorize your new pages with plus appropriate .
- Type TESOL nav on your user page to keep the Topic:TESOL-nav box handy.
- Use Teamspeak. audio example - using teamspeak for language learning (active listening).
TEFL and TESL, too
editTEFL and TESL are part of Topic:TESOL -- let's not spread ourselves too thin; let's bump elbows and share categories for now.
