1. Use automatic captioning of tables and figures - this will allow the automatic generation of a table of tables and a table of figures. Also use styles for headings, which will allow automatic generation of a table of contents.
2. Use word processor tables and graph tools, in general, rather than dumped SPSS output. SPSS output will require considerable customization to be rendered in APA style.
