Respect economy

edit

Questions concerning respect economy can be found in the optional course unit respect economy of the assistant teacher program.

Exercises

edit

Pupils should describe their own theory for a respect economy. This exercise can be homework or a group assignment in class.

  • Under which conditions does respect behave as a scarce resource?
  • Under which conditions does respect not behave as a scarce resource?
  • What are characteristics of either category?

Discussion

edit

The first two groups of questions from the optional course unit can be given as an homework assignment or can be discussed in class as an introduction to the topic. The last group of questions should rather be added to this discussion.

  • Compare your theories for a respect economy.
  • Are your theories consistent?
  • How good are your theories at describing reality? Do they simplify?
