How is this going to be?

I think there could be a link to essays so people could analyze the ArbCom, express their points of view, and seek solutions for the problems they perceive. There should probably be an attempt at a neutral article detailing the entire history of the ArbCom, including every single case they handled. I think this project should provide all information available regarding the ArbCom. I think editors and people who donate to Wikipedia would be interested enough in the subject to write, read, and discuss that content. The ArbCom is a really important part of Wikipedia. Since this is not Wikipedia, the information doesn't need to be "notable" for a general audience (by the way, isn't the ArbCom notable enough to deserve an article on Wikipedia?) a.z. 15:11, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure what counts as a case. I thought each ArbCom case had a subpage "Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/FooBar". Was you block ever associated with a particular case? Maybe there is a whole other category of ArbCom actions that are not documented in a ""Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration" subpage. I would prefer not to do anything without support from other editors. I don't want to be seen as disruptive. I added to this page the fact that the banning policy has been changed a few months ago to reflect that the ArbCom bans people even without requests for arbitration. In my case, there was no request for arbitration, but I think it's still a case. a.z. 02:03, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps a good first project would be an overview of where arbccom came from, how it was established, how it works, its general and specific procedures, how well it is perceived as working, acknowledged problems, improvement efforts underway in the community, etc. I assume some of this is documented at Wikipedia while some of it has evolved and is just common knowledge amongst its participants and watchers.
