How do you calculate the maximum number of different packets you are allowed to send on a TCP connection without acknowledgement assuming the packet size exceeds the maximum segment size (mss)?

The answer given is 'window size divided by the minimum mss of the sender and receiver.'

There is also a option available such as 'window size divided by the mss of the receiver'. I would like to know why this is not an answer. --Kandhasamy Rajasekaran (discuss • contribs) 10:18, 8 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
