Table Spacing

hey, anyone notice how the spacing in the table of creation days is off a bit? (specifically days 1 & 3). Any idea how to fix that? --Opensourcejunkie 14:11, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Maybe surrounding the content of each table cell with divs with heights set to 7em (i.e. <div style="height:7em;">Day ...</div>)? Gigabyte 04:11, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Silly me, the correct way would probably be to use the "vertical-align: top;" css property on the table rows (i.e. <tr style="vertical-align: top;">). 76.206.30.233 00:09, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Bible Versions

• It's occurred to me that when we quote bible references, we should also be saying the version of the bible we're using. I'm using the NIV over here, I don't know about anyone else. What's the general consensus on that? --Saz909 16:06, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Back before there was more than one person (me :-) to have a consensus with, I came to consensus with myself and decided to use NKJV. Mostly it was because I'm a fan of KJV, and NKJV makes a good modern-day equivalent.

what I determined on the guidelines' page was that all scripture linking should be done to BibleGateway's NKJV version. However, as for what version to quote, I didn't place a ruling. Since you and I are the only active members at the moment, if you and I can come to a consensus on the matter, we can put it up on the guidelines' page. let me get this straight.. god made light on the first day.. but he made light ommiting objects (sun) on day 4??? that does not sound right.. what happenned on day 0? thats a question that ive been meaning to ask and find the answer for, for such a long time. plus.. where did god come from? what was he doing before all this?Sachee143 17:00, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Really, this depends on who you are trying to ask: Wikiversity does not yet have a Religion Reference Desk, but what religion's perspective are you asking? You seem to be interested in knowing what the Bible says, but the Bible does not necessarily provide explanations for its own words. Have you read the Genesis account, to begin with?
