As you know I'm a great fan of this topic. As you're writing, you might want to keep in mind a couple of wikipedia adages
- No Original Research. This will require showing that 'small beta barrels' are a well researched concept in the literature already.
- Articles should meet the standard for notability. In particular, this requires distinguishing your topic page from existing articles, e.g. Beta barrel
I would also think about possible titles that do not include a colon, as this will make it easier to search for.
