Talk:Panspermia/a critique of Panspermia—true or false?

In the points made it is noted that Panspermia is not possible because there is a long line of steps for a bacteria to survive before it reaches earth. However I find it ever unlikely because the article cited for this point says that there is only a minuscule survival rate needed for a bacterial in space to survive. As well as other articles reinforce that idea by suggesting that the bacteria may have been spores. Spores are able to survive under very high pressure and temperature changes. Therefore having a series of steps before reaching earth killing off the bacteria is very unlikely.Asmit (talk) 02:40, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
