Talk:Obstetrics and Gynecology
Department Structure
editIs the current structure of the department good enough? What changes would you like to see? Should the curriculum be displayed on the main page or should it be sited elsewhere?
Learning Outcomes
editIs the Core curriculum extensive enough? Is it practical to divide it between knowledge and skills or should it be divided according to other criteria?
Clinical Cases
editDo the clinical cases meet the standard of a medical school? Should they be presented using a different format?
Case 1
editGood start with case #1. Look forward to more, I might steal your idea to use over in our department. Watch for it. Keep up the good work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.71.64.77 (talk • contribs) 04:22, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
thanks very much, it's not completely finished. What department are you in? DónalMcK 11:28, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
The Department of Military Medicine. I also wrote the outline to the intro course in the Department of Palliative Care Medicine. Only wish I had more time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.228.196.210 (talk • contribs) 04:44, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I'm glad someone is taking care of those. They are actually the two fields that I, as a med student, don't learn in my course. I am in my obs and gynae rotation and I will "finish" my contribution to the department of obs and gynae over christmas. My next rotation is in paediatrics so i'll get started there next. I'd love to see more people coming into the school to add content but it seems very slow so far. DónalMcK 15:54, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Departmental Debates
editWhat debates could be started in this department? Should they be argued through posted messages, posted essays or both?
Figures in Obstetrics and Gynecology
editShould there be a section on the main page dedicated to obstetricians and gynecologists of the past?
