Grid computing for Wikiversity planet detection?

I would be happy to try to help with software support. Can a systematic use of grid resources help in the data processing necessary to analyze stellar orbits?

Thanks for the offer. I've only just started using this software, so I'm not quite sure what is possible. The website mentions that you can run your own client, but I didn't see any details on how to do that. The Systemic project was inspired by the idea of seti@home but with one important difference - they wanted this project to be interactive rather than just a screensaver. Finding a good fit to the data requires human interaction. But there are parts of the program that are very compute intensive. Once a good candidate is found you need to run the planet simulation forward in time to check for stability. This can take hours.
