Contradictions

The article says:

1. The best choice is a set of DV’s uncorrelated with one another because they each measure a separate aspect of the influence of IV’s.

2. When there is little correlation among DV’s univariate F is acceptable.

These are contradictory with each other. They are also contradictory with what is said in the linked "Advanced ANOVA/MANOVA" article. Please rewrite.
