I am struglling with this sentence a bit, @CarpeLanam:

Sanguine conjūnctī sumus.: this seems to be (ablative) sanguine (genitive) conjuncti; so something like "by blood of joined are we". Is there a simple way to explain why a genitive is used in this example? JimKillock (discusscontribs) 11:02, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
