Talk:Illustrated Companion to the Latin Dictionary
This is the main page for discussing the Wikiversity-learning resource Illustrated Companion to the Latin Dictionary and reporting problems related to this project.
Launch announcement
editToday, the 16th of November, 2024, the Illustrated Companion to the Latin Dictionary has been officially launched. Contrary to many might-be, will-be projects, the Illustrated Companion is complete and useful from the very launch date. However, it is also ready to be improved, corrected, expanded. "More" is possible, but not necessary, for it to be of use.
The first contribution you can make is to look around and check, if it is useful. Should your assessment be, that it is at least "quite nice", then spread the word that the Illustrated Companion to the Latin Dictionary has set up shop at Wikiversity. Tell your friends, make a post on the Latin blogs, forums, etc. Becoming visible is the project's first priority.
The initial content is the result of my transcription (since 2016) of the original text (including creating scans of the images). For more, see my article Road to RICH-2K. Until today, this has been my project, as of now it is a "res publica. Enjoy! CalRis25 (discuss • contribs) 15:23, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
