Talk:Evidence-based assessment/Which Questionnaire Should I Use?
I really like this idea a lot, and the effort to format the information so that it is not overwhelming!
Some newer thoughts:
- The versions here do not include links to anchor cites
- This is going to be redundant with the corresponding tables on the Resource Kit (formerly the Portfolio) pages. I think that transclusion could be a better solution?
- Don't know why this didn't hit me sooner, but should the page be titled "Which questionnaire..." instead of "What..."??
Thanks for the work on this! Eyoungstrom (discuss • contribs) 23:31, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
Some thoughts:
- "Broad Band" makes me think of ASEBA, BASC, CASI, SDQ... not diagnostic interviews like the KSADS. Not sure if we want to change the label ("multi-diagnosis" instead of broad band), or have separate sections by modality (checklist vs. interview, etc.)
- We will want to add links to the Wiki pages about the disorders (at the upper level) as well as to specific measures (putting the link at the drilled-down -- "this is what you want" position)
- We will also want to compare these to the list of chapters in the Guilford book, Hunsley's adult book, etc. and start integrating with them
Exciting stuff! Eyoungstrom (discuss • contribs) 17:18, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
Diagnostic Interviews
editThe Child and Adolescent Symptom Inventory is technically a checklist, not a diagnostic interview. It has algorithms to score it to get at a diagnosis, and a clinician could review it with the patient/family to confirm the diagnosis (treating it as a semi-structured interview), but it was not designed as an interview per se. We can either move or add a note (here, and/or on the CASI page) to clarify. Excellent work! Eyoungstrom (discuss • contribs) 13:20, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
