The illustration for the sum of currents entering a node actually shows two of the currents exiting the node. Probably pretty confusing to a new student... Robhingle 01:20, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Many students find it easier to think of it in terms of "The current entering a node must equal the current leaving a node" at first. It may be prudent to point out that a positive current value is current entering the node, while a negative value is current leaving the node. Specifically using this notation can help with consistency, and to help students better understand the answers they get when first practicing problems.
