Dimensional profiling

edit

Is this the correct spelling of this section title or is it supposed to be Dmensional profiling? Also, "For consistency with other units of measurement we will a system of dimensional profiling." What word(s) go between "we will" and "a system"? Very interesting resource! --Marshallsumter (discusscontribs) 20:41, 15 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks I have a bit of a learning disability... So it takes a couple of reviews to work out the grader and spelling

The units of the Einstein-coefficients

edit

The Einstein-coefficients are defined as "a probability per unit of time". This means that the A-coefficient has no further units, but the B's have. The correct B-units are: m^3 / (J.s). By the way, it is irrelevant whether the energy density is spectral or not; both sides of the equation are spectral or not.
