Talk:Effect size
It is written here, that total eta2 and partial eta2 is not available in SPSS. If I am right, in SPSS it is at least available in the GLM-procedures: e.g. GLM > univariate > options > show > check: effect size estimates. In the output-table the first line is total eta2 (which is equivalent to R2 at bottom of table) and the following lines are patial eta2 for each factor/covariate. Should one correct the entry on the subject page? cheers, --134.100.99.138 18:35, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
This page definitely needs more references. One possible reference for the two types of Effect sizes (mean difference and correlational) is;
Fritz, C.O., Morris, P.E., & Richler, J.J. (2012). Effect size estimates: Current use, calculations, and interpretation. Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, 141(1), 2-18. doi: 10.1037/a0024338
These authors talk about them in the article.--123.3.46.224 (discuss) 09:06, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
