Talk:Earth-impact events

What's needed?

I was thinking about this project today at work, and wondering what sorts of things the project might need as an initiative in the Think Tank. I was thinking maybe some feedback pages or surveys? For example, an "introduction circle" page where people first arriving on the project could say how much they know about NEOs, where they first learned about them, whether they believe we're capable of doing something to prevent impacts (and/or if an "Earth defense system" should be created), etc. It might also be interesting to have an "ideas section" where people can use their imaginations to come up with ways to prevent an impact, and have the "experts" give feedback on why an idea might or might not work. There have been a number of movies and books about the topic that could also be "fact-checked" as part of the project.
