Talk:Dutch Language/Introduction
Audio
editWouldn't it be better to add some audio fragments, pronunciations? I'd be willing to record and post them, if someone can tell me how to do it. Herrific, 9 December 2008
Error
edit"Hebben" is not a regular verb, and should not be presented as such, the English verb forms are also different from the Dutch and should not be confused. Gijsstrider 09:53, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- What's an example of a regular verb to replace it? --HappyCamper 10:06, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well, we could use "leren" (to learn) Gijsstrider 12:53, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Could use "drinken" or "denken" whose presents are regular - when conjugating "leren" changes because of spelling rules and subsequently makes an introduction to verbs harder... SmokyMonster, 17 June 2008

Hun/hen
editThe primary personal pronoun form for "them" is "hen", not "hun". Although "hun" is more and more used instead of "hen", originally "hun" is a possesive adjective. Maybe "hun" does not have to be deleted from the table, since it is used as a personal pronoun in daily life, but I will add "hen" to complete the table.
I want to learn and help
editHello. I am a Wikiversity (in portuguese) collaborator. I want to help building this Dutch course, but I don´t speak any Dutch... I guess I will have to be extra bold. It would be good to include some example sentences. I hope some Dutch speaker is involved in this course at the moment. If you want to learn portuguese I will be helping the Introduction to Portuguese course. Best regards, Ricardoramalho 23:35, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
