The datasheets relevent section
editThis section is a list of devices this corse would cover the data sheets will be required as lessons are written.
They are all from ti or TexasInstruments as TI is big in the whole digital logic department there are other providers but ti's is the easyist to navagate for Logic Devices.
If you know of more devices or perhaps can fill in some of the holes such as not all devices have a 74 series chip or a 4000 series chip go ahead any providers good ti was just easy for me.

- ST: general everything audio, radio unsure very similar to national Logic
- National: Power management, simple switching supply's, op amps, generally everything
- Analog Devices: DSP Op amps lot of audio/analog stuff
- Linear Technology: switching power supplys power management, 3pin devices MAKERS OF THE FREE LTspice/Switcher CAD III
- Maxim/Dallas: analog, odds and ends stuff, motor controllers, lots of uncommon stuff, Real Time Clock, digital POT
- Motorola/MOT/OnSemi: wirelss very heavy wireless and general stuff
- Parallax: PICmicro, BASICstamp, robotics
- Atmel: microcontrollers, 8bit and 32bit DSP
- Altera: CPLD, DSP, microncontrollers
- WinBond: ascii to Voice chips, mobo Chipset componets including interupt controlers, soundcards
