Talk:C Programming/Basic Output/Exercise 1

I tried my hand at this one, and was quite confused as to why my executable program "paused before outputting the quotedtext to the screen... any suggestions? I use the Eclipse IDE from Sun if it makes a difference. The only thing that I could come up with was how it compiles (MinGW).
