Ugly name. How about 'Basic Mathematics'? 'Numeracy' is a term that is increasing used in the UK. I'm not sure what meaning it may have elsewhere though. Smockdotcom 21:41, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Is the purpose of this page to provide an introduction to the absolute basics of mathematics? I am going to act on the premise that it is and if I am wrong just delete anything I add. FortyTwo 20:38, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Gathering already done stuff

There has already been some work done among the "Early Childhood Mathematics Education" bunch of folks. How could we use their work?
