This page should be renamed to angle (without the s), as in wikipedia the page angles_(disambiguation) does not list the geometrical concept of angle. Whereas the page angle_(disambiguation) does.--Fatka 23:14, 29 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Conventions

I came here looking for the following basic information: Where is zero degrees conventionally located? I think of it as being at the top of a circle, at the 12 o'clock position, but I have a feeling it might normally be at the right. Which direction is considered a positive change in angle? I assumed clockwise, but the wikipedia page on angles says the opposite. My first thought was it couldn't be true, but all kinds of awkwardly incompatible conventions can come to exist, I know. So, it would be nice if the answers were here. 213.122.22.31
