Much of the textbook was written by Jeremy Heyl as part of his PHYS 350 (Classical Mechanics) course at UBC. Guy Vandegrift added sections to Hamilton's Equations.

I don't understand how to get to "classical mechanics" resources in order to learn basic topics like kinematics, dynamics, Newton Laws, rotating bodies and so on. I see that only "advanced classical mechanics" is covered here. It seems that whatever choice one make in the main school of physics page doesn't matter, because only advanced topics are covered. I think the structure of this school should be rethought, by also providing basic resources to physics newbies. Fabio Maria De Francesco (discuss • contribs) 11:39, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
