This page contains the inventory of the TAO project's (expected) outputs that are expected to find entry to the TAO Handbook.

Definitions edit

List the terms and concepts that have been defined or are going to be defined within the project TAO and are likely to be used within various contexts within the TAO Handbook and the TAO Community of Practice.

Outreach / Advocacy edit

Internet Use / Use of Online Communities and Online Social Networks edit

Guiding questions:

  1. What are important general considerations?
  2. What target group characteristics are most relevant with regard to effective approaches? (age, familiarity with computers and the Internet, disabilities, language skills, etc.)

Usability / Accessibility / Sociability edit

With regard to usability, accessibility, and sociability, we need to differentiate between the following levels:

  • Software (e.g. Drupal, MediaWiki distribution)
  • Instance of the Software (e.g. the Drupal implementation at seniorweb.ch, tailored to the specific needs of the Seniorweb community)
  • Contributor Behavior (e.g. with regard to providing meta data along with pictures, etc.)

  • Information regarding transfer and internationalization: context analysis (particularities of a given implementation); international comparisons of relevant socioeconomic data
