Studies about Senecan Tragedy/Is this about Seneca the Younger or the Elder?
At the moment, the article links to w:Seneca the Elder. But I have evidence that it was supposed to be w:Seneca the Younger. Here is why:
- I googled the words (George Uscatescu Seneca present dramatic author) and got https://www.jstor.org/stable/30221943, which asserts that Seneca died in AD 65. w:Seneca the Younger died in that year.
- According to Wikipedia, Lucius Annaeus Seneca wrote the Senecan tragedy
Sorry, I don't have an essay to write here. I am just an administrator trying to promote thoughtful essays as an alternative to the gibberish that passes for social discourse in an era where short pithy statements are seem to be the rule. I did write an essay on how writing essays. See: Socialism/Is it a thing of the left?.
