Student Projects/Basic 2-d Shapes

2-D stands for 2 dimensional shapes. In geometry, a two dimensional shape can be defined as a flat plan figure or a shape that had two dimensions -length and width. Two-dimensional or 2-D shapes do not have any thickness and can be measured in only two faces.

Examples are a circle, a triangle, a square, a rectangle, and a pentagon.

A triangle is a closed figure it has :three sides, three vertices, some of 3 angles are 180.

A Square is a closed figure it has :4 sides, all sides are equal, opposite two sides are parallel, all interior angles are right angles or equal to 90.

A Rectangle is a closed figure it has: 4 sides ,opposite sides are equal ,all angles are right angles.

A Circle is a closed figure it has no sides distance from center to two ends are equal.
