US States/South Carolina
(Redirected from South Carolina)
South Carolina is a state in the southeastern United States. It was one of the original thirteen colonies and now borders North Carolina and Georgia. South Carolina was the first state to secede from the Union in the Civil War, and the bombardment at Fort Sumter off its coast marked the opening of hostilities in that conflict.
