LQ02 quadrangle Clementine UVVIS map


As typical for the farside, the LQ02 quadrangle is mostly composed of ancient, highly cratered anorthositic highland. Only regions where craters occasionally do penetrate the thick anorthositic crust are Coulomb-Sarton Basin and Mongolfier crater cluster. Quadrangle has a relative paucity of fresh impact craters though, with ray systems limited to Moore F, unnamed crater inside Paraskevopoulos S, Klute W and northern parts of the Jackson crater ray systems.
