Anyone wanting to help set up the Geography School please post any ideas here. Cheers. Franko2nd 17:00, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Be bold! There has not been much activity in this area so far. If you have any questions about Wikiversity conventions, etc, let me know. --JWSchmidt 17:15, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Related materials edit

Here are a couple of learning projects and materials that might help build School:Geography

Wikipedia's List of basic geography topics may be a resource to help outline and get things started. Sadly, w:Portal:Geography there has been vandalized. I notified w:Wikipedia:WikiProject Geography. Maybe we can work with them. CQ 17:25, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Textbook development edit

Geography

I started a main Geography article and I noticed that b:Geography redirects to b:Wikibooks:Social sciences bookshelf#Geography. Looks like we have our work cut out for us! Maybe we can build a virtual globe in cooperation with the Cartography and Geoinformatics departments? CQ 18:09, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Its a good idea for a research topic, i looked at other research like the bloom clock project, something like this would be great. Franko2nd 18:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

What do you think about this?

Welcome to the School of Geography!

A school is a large organizational structure which can contain various departments and divisions. The departments and divisions should be listed in the departments and divisions section. The school should not contain any learning resources. The school can contain projects for developing learning resources.
