Portal talk:Tertiary Education
The "Guide to Tertiary Education" contains a listing of subjects. Two of the subjects "ERP *" and "The Web Economy *" list subsections of the subjects. I would like to compress them into one subject each. Any objections to this course of action? I would also like to retitle the subsections so that they sort properly: (01, 02, 03) instead of (1, 10, 11, 2, 20).
I think that compressing them would be fine, provided that you made a link to an expandable list so that people searching for the particular page could access it easily. And can anyone tell me how to edit the "Help box" on the right hand side so that it no longer references "teacher orientated" and "student orientated" tutorials, but instead references teacher and student oriented materials instead?
I plan to edit this page
editI want to do three things:
- Remove or greatly demote the long list of pages that contain the tertiary education template. Done
- Lead to an introduction that a college or department can use. It will include instructions for faculty/staff members to acquire the new "Teacher" position (just below Custodian), as well as how to register large numbers of students, and also the use of permalinks to facilitate students submitting written projects to whatever course management system is in use at the college or university.
- Find a way to recruit colleges and universities not yet aware of Wikiversity--Guy vandegrift (discuss • contribs) 15:24, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
Please excuse the self-promotion of Bell's theorem. But the astronomy feature was there for 5 years, and I think this is my best work.--Guy vandegrift (discuss • contribs) 16:43, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
