Its pretty good. I took out "Welcome to the department of nuclear engineering" because I feel as if it really is not needed. Peace:) --Sir James Paul 00:33, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- I think somewhere very early in the listed topics or coursework should be radiation basics, nuclear medicine, hazards, precautions, etc. This might be by links to other areas or site. A few years back a kid in the SouthEast, USA built himself an isotope pile by buying up old watchs with faces and hands painted with thorium isotopes. Using these he created other unstable isotopes. When confronted by newpaper reporters after the authorities arrived and confiscated the pile and started decontaminating the neighborhood the child's parents seemed to have no idea that radioactivity was unhealthy and to be avoided. Only proud their child had attracted national attention. When such juveniles are using Wikiversity it would be nice to point them at appropriate precautions when studying nuclear aspects of nature. Most Jimmy Neutron's or surrounding enablers would like to live long enough to enjoy their inventions. Mirwin 20:38, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
