Pad parichay means giving all info about the word and describing it. If it is a noun, what type of noun it is, or if it is a verb what type of verb it is, the gender, and whether it is plural or singular is described.
For example:- Reema khana kha rahi hai.
Here, Reema is vyaktivachak sangya , striling, ek vachan and the kriya ke saath sambhand is khana.
