- We agreed to collaborate on the dock workers project and other possible OH projects
- One of the new doctors might be interested
- We agreed to have regular meetings schedule 1-2 times per year
- The project should be presented and discussed at a coming staff meeting

- Several cancer cases among the approximately 55 employees at the harbor are causing serious concerns among the dock workers
- Project with measurements of NOx and SOx air pollution is being planned together with management.
- A cooperation with the University of Southern Denmark on a working environment questionnaire survey is being planned
- Flemming will assist in the project
- We keep in touch and arrange a new meeting when needed

Correspondence with Jørgen Hovgaard, Nicaragua and Olaf Jensen, Panama/Denmark
- A monitoring project under the "Blue Risk Survey Program" is realistic now
- We agree that small prevalence porjects like the one in Esbjerg and other cities should be done as the first step in a bigger plan, Olaf work on this
- Jørgen will continue to develop Union ITF supported intervention plan, with application for fundings
The first steps to develop the program were taken in the Dock Workers´ Seminar in Panama 6-8 Sep 2017 arranged by 3-f Denmark, the regional ITF and the regional dock workers unions.

- Program plans and ideas presented by Caristina and Olaf
- The need for defined inclusion criteria for injuries (1 day off or other) in the before and after measurements
- The validity of data from the injury registers to the authorities can be questioned, due to under-reporting - therefore
- The start priority is to measure the knowledge on injury prevention before and after for the youngest workers, leaders and administrators
