Observation clock
An observational clock is a Wikiversity resource type. Collaborating users from around the globe observe natural cycles of various kinds and report the data. Observational clocks can also bring classrooms together with research.
Observational clocks have a number of uses.
- Learning/reference function: users can use simple identification "keys" to help recognize species. For example, a school class could try to match observed items with their classifications, and then add to the database of observations.
- Research function: research projects can be built around the raw collected data - e.g. the development of terminologies to better describe the cycles of natural phenomena.
