Notes edit

En kopp and Et glass is a bit tricky. When you want to say, "A cup/glass of water", you would say "En kopp/glass vann". You don't include the "av" to represent "of", like you do in English. Here are some translations:

  • A cup of fish - En kopp fisk
  • A cup of milk - En kopp melk
  • A glass of sugar - Et glass sukker
  • A glass of fish - Et glass fisk
  • A glass of milk - Et glass melk
