Robbery edit

Definition edit

Theft accompanied by violence or threats of violence in order to extort pty or prevent or overcome resistance to pty being stolen.

Aggravated Robbery edit

Definition edit

  1. Robbing anyone and immediately before or after causing gbh to anyone
  2. Robbery with another person
  3. Robbing anyone while armed with:
(i) an offensive weapon or instrument; or
(ii) a thing appearing to be an offensive weapon or instrument.

Assault with Intent to Rob edit

Definition edit

(1) With intent to rob:

(a) causing gbh
(b) assaulting while being armed with an offensive weapon or instrument
(c) assaulting together with another; OR

(2) Withing intent to rob, assaulting anyone.
