Receiving any property stolen or obtained by crime:

(i) knowing; or
(ii) being reckless as to whether

the property has been stolen or so obtained.

Doctrine of Recent Possession*

Where:

  1. defendant is in possession of recently stolen property; and
  2. the defendant offers no explanation or his explanation is inadequate

the jury is entitled to infer guilt.
