Brief description of the proposed project | Background
Stress among students is well known but a suspected excess study related to stress and stress among maritime students has so far been studied little. The GHQ12 survey in the maritime schools completes part of the diagnostics of a global mental health program at the schools and workplaces, also related to the WHO program: The WHO health-promoting school framework for improving the health and well-being for students. |
Objectives |
To evaluate the well-being of the maritime students and to evaluate the precautions taken by the maritime schools. To evaluate bullying, sexual harassment, tobacco and alcohol and their suggestions for improving. The students can use it for their thesis at the schools. The results can also be used in teaching about the working environment. Together with the students, the management can use the results to propose and implement concrete improvements to the educational programs. |
