    • Logs are usually stored in: /var/log/
    • syslogd: syslog.conf
    • klogd
    • logger
    • logrotate: /etc/logrotate.conf, /etc/logrotate.d/
    • logcheck
    • systemd
      • Journalctl
      • /etc/systemd/journald.conf
      • /var/log/journal/
  • Logwatch for parsing logs based on patterns and generate a report.
