Learn SignWriting for American Sign Language

There is a proposal to open a Wikipedia in American Sign Language. At present, it looks like SignWriting will be the dominant mode for content, potentially supplemented with video.

SignWriting is a system for representing the movements of visuospatial signed languages. This project will focus on writing and reading American Sign Language, with a particular focus on use within a Wikipedia or Wiktionary project.
