K^n/Sum norm/Example

In ${}{\mathbb {K} }^{n}$, taking

${}\mid \mid \!x\!\mid \mid _{\operatorname {sum} }:=\sum _{i=1}^{n}\vert {x_{i}}\vert \,,$

defines a norm, which is called the sum norm.
