Introduction to Quechua
General aspects of Quechua
Quechua is a very regular agglutinative language.
There are no irregular verbs.
Suffixes are added to the root of the verb to create new words.
For instance,
K'oñi
= Warm gives
K'oñichiy
= To get warm.
In Quechua you don't have to worry whether a word is masculine or feminine.
Quechua does not have definite and indefinite articles (like "the" and "a").
Plural
The plural is formed by adding "kuna", or specifying the
number
